Resources

We would like to share some grief support groups and resources that have been suggested to us by other families that have been a part of them. If you would like to suggest another grief support group or resource please send us a message in the online chat or email us below.

  • GriefShare
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. Each is "self-contained," so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin.
  • Haven of Hope
Haven of Hope is a non-denominational ministry with the sole desire to minister to moms who have suffered the death of a child by offering comfort, hope and encouragement. We host an annual retreat where moms can have a safe place to work through the grief process, share their feelings and talk about their child/children. Our desire is that you will walk away with encouragement, friendships, love and above all hope.
  • Mending Hearts Grief Center
Our peer support group programs bring together youth and families with similar death loss experiences to help normalize feelings, share experiences, and grieve the death of a parent, sibling or close family member. They are open-ended and are offered at no cost to families. In the Children’s Bereavement program there are four groups: elementary, middle school, high school, and their caregivers. The young adult group is for those who are ages 18-24. We also offer a several different peer support groups for adults with various types of loss.
